Our mission is to support WJHS students and staff through various activities and venues in the hopes of providing the best educational environment and opportunity for all of our children. This website serves to provide you with news and information on resources provided by the PTO and access to the WJHS School Directory.

PTO ANNOUNCEMENTS

EDUKIT

The EduKit will be delivered to your student’s homeroom on the first day of school 8/19/26. If you purchase a calculator through EduKits, it will also be delivered to your student’s classroom on the first day of school!

PTO LOOKING TO FILL ONE POSITION FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR

There is one position left on the WJHS PTO Exec Board next year- and it could be YOU! Join this rewarding team where experience and dedication result in fun programming for students and staff throughout the year. If you are interested in being involved as Secretary, we always have room for more volunteers on the hospitality committee. 8TH GRADE PARENTS: “CLASS OF 2030” SWEATSHIRT NOW ON SALE  

Our SpiritWear partner HumanKind is offering sweatshirts for purchase for this year’s 8th graders- the “Class of 2030” (if graduating from New Trier high school). Check it out HERE.

GET A PTO MEMBERSHIP 

It is important to purchase a PTO Membership because the $25 fee helps plan programs that benefit all students throughout the school year. Separate from the iGNITE Enrichment fund, the PTO funds stipends for teachers who coordinate the Latin Club, Student Council, Yearbook, funds beautification efforts like the front door planters, and staff appreciation throughout the year. The PTO also sponsors the 8th Grade Graduation party each year (free for all 8th graders!) and hosts tables at beginning of the year orientations and curriculum nights. In return, you get access to the online school directory, a lifeline for parents to connect with other parents. We use a platform called Membership Toolkit to make it easy for our parents to make and track purchases (i.e., Yearbook) and for you to get important information about school activities. Please join!

Even if you have a student at another D39 school, in order to access the WJHS Directory you will need to purchase a WJHS PTO membership. This can be done HERE, on the wjhspto.com website.
