8th Graders are invited to the 8th Grade Graduation Party to be held on Friday, May 30 from 6:00-8:00pm at WJHS. This party is FREE and sponsored by the WJHS PTO. More details to come soon!

Here are some things the PTO is working on to provide in MAY! Check back for more information and updates!
- EDUKITS (school supplies) for next year’s 7th/8th graders are being finalized. SALES WILL BEGIN IN MAY.
- 8TH GRADE GRADUATION YARD SIGNS are the WJHS PTO’s gift to all 8th graders. These complimentary signs are being printed now and distribution will be announced in MAY.
- YEARBOOK content has been sent to the printer! Sales have closed. They will be passed out to students on the last day of school for each grade (Thursday 6/5 for 8th graders, Friday 6/6 for 7th graders).
8TH GRADE PARENTS: “CLASS OF 2029” SWEATSHIRT
Get your graduating 8th grader ready for New Trier High School with a “Class of 2029” sweatshirt! humanKIND is a locally mom-owned company that we’ve partnered with to sell WJHS spiritwear. Items are fully customizable with an option to ship OR pick up locally.

PARENT IN-SCHOOL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
✅Lunch server - 1 hour of your time to help serve food to students in the lunch line on any given day. Sign up HERE and thank you!
✅Courtyard volunteer - 45 minutes of your time to take out games from the PTO’s shed and monitor the space during lunch recess. Sign up HERE to volunteer for 7th graders (Wed) or 8th graders (Fri).

NEW TRIER BOOSTER CLUB NEWS
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! The New Trier Booster Club is holding their annual benefit 4/25 at The Women’s Club of Wilmette from 7-10pm and everyone is invited, click HERE for more information! Auction items are online and bidding is open to ANYONE. You don’t have to attend to bid on the many great items available. Click HERE to register and bid! All proceeds go towards enhancing athletic programs and intramurals at New Trier High School.
SEEKING 2 CRC REPRESENTATIVES FROM WJHS
The District 39 Community Review Committee is seeking to fill their committee with two representatives from WJHS. The CRC advises the District 39 Board of Education by researching a relevant topic that will lead to improvements in the district. The position involves meeting monthly from September through June to develop a report and recommendations to present to the district. Meetings are scheduled from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on the first or second Tuesday of each month and held at the Mikaelian Center.
