WELCOME TO THE WJHS PTO WEBSITE!

Our mission is to support the WJHS students and staff through various activities and venues in the hopes of providing the best educational environment and opportunity for all of our children. This website serves to provide you with news and information on resources provided by the PTO and access to the WJHS School Directory.

This website is a one stop center for parents to sign up for things like volunteer opportunities and after school clubs for students as well as track purchases of yearbooks and donations to the iGNITE Enrichment Fund and the annual Teacher/Staff Holiday Gift Fund.

Your first step is to confirm your household information from a home computer, not a phone. You will be asked if you would like to join the PTO. There are no commitments or meetings. Your $25 membership fee gets you online WJHS School Directory access, so helpful in making connections with other parents and students. It's important to 'opt in' to receive emails from the PTO with timely information and opportunities. Your fee helps us with yearly student/staff programming such as the 8th Grade Graduation Party, teacher stipends for yearbook and student council committees, after school clubs teacher stipends, school beautification efforts, teacher appreciation efforts and much, much more. Your support is needed and appreciated!
Thank you!

 CAFETERIA REQUESTS PARENT VOLUNTEERS

Please consider spreading the holiday cheer by volunteering to serve lunch this December. We don’t have anyone signed up yet for 12/9, 12/10, 12/15, 12/17 or 12/19. Did you know that a home-from-college older sibling can volunteer too? How about the grandparent who’s visiting you? They can sign up too! It’s rewarding and very much appreciated.
For more information click HERE and thank you.

REMINDER TO BUY YOUR 2025-2026 WJHS YEARBOOK!

The 2025-2026 WJHS Yearbook can be purchased online through Membership Toolkit on the WJHS PTO website www.wjhspto.com. Yearbooks are $34 and will be distributed during the last week of school. Please purchase HERE and cross this off your list of things to do! You must be logged in to purchase.

JOIN THE FACEBOOK PAGE FOR WJHS PARENTS

There is an online community for you to ask questions and get information about WJHS - it’s the WJHS PARENTS Facebook page! Many announcements are shared on the page although it is not run by the WJHS PTO. It’s worthwhile to be able to ask questions from fellow parents and see veteran parents’ comments. You will need to answer a few questions to make sure you have a student at WJHS, as it is for parents of CURRENT students only.

  WJHS SPIRITWEAR

Look your best on Spirit Fridays! Wilmette Junior High School Wolves spirit wear is offered through our partner and fellow Wilmette moms’ business HumanKind. Check out all the great options HERE that can be personalized!

GET A PTO MEMBERSHIP

It is important to purchase a PTO Membership because the $25 fee helps plan programs that benefit all students throughout the school year. Separate from the iGNITE Enrichment fund, the PTO funds stipends for teachers who coordinate the Latin Club, Student Council, Yearbook, funds beautification efforts like the front door planters, and staff appreciation throughout the year. The PTO also sponsors the 8th Grade Graduation party each year (free for all 8th graders!) and hosts tables at beginning of the year orientations and curriculum nights. In return, you get access to the online school directory, a lifeline for parents to connect with other parents. We use a platform called Membership Toolkit to make it easy for our parents to make and track purchases (i.e., Yearbook) and for you to get important information about school activities. Please join!

Even if you have a student at another D39 school, in order to access the WJHS Directory you will need to purchase a WJHS PTO membership. This can be done HERE, on the wjhspto.com website. Any questions or have trouble logging in? Email directory@wjhspto.com. YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR HOUSEHOLD CONTACT INFORMATION FROM A HOME COMPUTER TO BEGIN, NOT A PHONE. If you have questions or trouble logging in, please email directory@wjhspto.com
